Rainier Arts Center is proud to be Southeast Seattle’s home for arts and cultural events. We are seeking the following positions to join our team.
Event Host
Event hosts act as point person for rental events at the Center. Duties include the following: open the building and greet the event organizer, conduct a pre- and post-event walkthrough with the organizer, assist with event set-up, be on hand during event to answer questions and ensure all safety protocols are met, and close the building. This is a contract position; $25/hour.
Light & Sound Tech
Techs may be called upon to set up mics, operate light and/or sound boards, run projection for film screenings, and run live streaming if necessary. For some events, Techs may also be required to open and close the building and assist with rental clients. This is a contract position; $30-50/hour (varies by job and experience).
