The Pocket Watch
The Serbian Cultural Center of Seattle presents The Pocket Watch at the Rainier Arts Center.
This play ponders the beauty of family devotion, homeland, war and survival. Its tale sprouts out of a love story between a young couple, Radomir and Julka, set around the time of the Great War. Permeating through decades, their love connects the people whose lives they marked—friends, kin and descendants, all the way to today.
As every family has stories of love, war and survival coded in their bones, you will find your own ancestors in The Pocket Watch. The play is presented in its original language, Serbian, but the playbill will contain an extensive summary in English. Come!
Thursday, May 1st and Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, with the beginning at 7 :30pm.
