40 Years of Legacy!!! ADEFUA Cultural Education Workshop is kicking off 40 years of presenting West African culture in the Pacific Northwest! Join us in this community celebration, as we continue building Legacy by bringing to realization the African Cultural Arts Center (ACAC), a safe, communal space that reaffirms and celebrates identity, and connects people of African ancestry with their roots, while also supporting cultural arts in our intergenerational communities.
Your tremendous support has enabled our committed work of teaching and performing in the Community for decades. This year’s theme is: ‘The Evolution of Culture in Community’ A Community Celebration of West African Drumming, Dance & Song! JOIN US!!
Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024. Doors open at 3:00 pm, with the African Marketplace, music, community networking, shopping, food, and more.
● Share Your Story – A Call for Testimonials to be included in the documentary, “The Legacy of ADEFUA”, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
● The one-night Odunde LIVE Performance is 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
